  • Drowning in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve

    Anchorage, AK – On Saturday, August 19, rangers at Lake Clark National Park and Preserve received a report that a father and his adult son had entered the water below the Tanalian Falls inside the southwest portion of the park and were caught by the current and swept down the river. The initial report indicated that the son was able to exit the river immediately, but the father disappeared.

  • Lake Clark National Park Releases Environmental Assessment for Public Comment

    Anchorage, AK – On September 16, 2020 Lake Clark National Park and Preserve will release the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the North Johnson Tract Right-of-Way Certificate of Access (RWCA). The EA will be available for review and public comment for 30 days.
